Beddgelert and Mynydd Sygyn Circular Walk

I'de needed some weeks to recover from my exhausting but very rewarding time in Snowdonia over Christmas and the New Year. But by early February I felt the need for some more winter walking! So arriving lunchtime from a snowy Peak District I set out on my usual short warm up walk. Noting there was still some snow on Hebog and the Nantlle ridge.

I had arrived just as the cold spell was about to come to an end. But I was pleased that for the last day or so of cold higher up there still seemed plenty of snow on the Moelwyns, which was where I intended to walk the next day!

But for today I was intent on enjoying a nice area for hillwalking, before descending oia the Copper Mine path, then along by the river and back to Beddgelert.
