Winhill on January 28th. A day when the wind and rain of the previous day had stopped and the sun came out!
Start of the Winhill walk. Just a few easy steps....................
This tree didn't believe it was a few easy steps. It had decided to lie down for a nice rest!
The steep climb continues. But at least it was out of the wind and rain.
Which is more than could be said for the summit of Winhill!
Heading along the broad ridge from Winhill saw old lying snow. Then the visibility really crashed,
so no more photos! But we walked higher up for a while, before heading down through woodland
and then back alongside Ladybower Reservoir to our starting point.
