Last week, I had Yeti, (Bryan), with me for 3 days walking. On Wednesday, he chose Kinder Scout via Grindsbrook Clough and we were both surprised at how much snow and ice there was still around up there! We started the walk from Edale and within 10 minutes, we were on the Pennine way heading towards Grindsbrook..

Near the very top of Grindsbrook, the small 'waterfall' section, (left), was just too icy to climb - but an alternative route was found instead!...
Onto the Kinder Plateau.

Is that storm coming our way?
No. It's missed us. We've got sunshine instead.
